Jenkins is the first new recruit for
Verbeck. He is a two-time state qualifier in the 800 meters in track
with a personal best time of 2:00. He also qualified for the state
tournament in cross country. His best time is 16:23 for a three-mile
race.
Coach Verbeck said, "I am excited to
add a runner with the experience and dedication of Tim to our
squad. He will immediately bring leadership and a winning attitude
to our program and should contribute immediately to the Lynx success
next season."
