[JULY 15, 2003]  Local business owner Carol Runyon is one of 8,000 consultants who recently attended the Creative Memories 15th annual National Showcase Convention, June 19-25, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. This year's convention theme invited consultants from all over the United States to soar to the next level.

Runyon received training, listened to motivational speeches and took home new products. She contributed to the convention by sharing her mission with others in order to take her career to the next level.

Runyon is a consultant who is passionate about teaching others how to preserve their memories for future generations. She shows others how to create simple, attractive page layouts and journal to capture the story behind the snapshots.

Founded in 1987 in St. Cloud, Minn., Creative Memories is one of the fastest growing international direct-selling companies. Currently, more than 80,000 independent sales consultants teach others to preserve their memories in safe, meaningful keepsake albums. The program is taught in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Taiwan, Japan and Germany.
