[DEC. 7, 2005]  The Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs is again offering scholarships to college and vocational school students who are attending schools in Illinois.

College scholarships are offered for students who will be full-time students in the fall of 2006. Students who are currently in college are also eligible to apply. Scholarships available include the following fields of study: drama, library science, art, music, education, speech, dance or any major that might lead to teaching one of the above.

In addition, scholarships are available to full-time and part-time students studying in vocational fields in the fall of 2006. These fields include training in the building trades -- such as construction, plumbing, electrical, welding -- or other vocational areas, including office management, culinary arts, beauty schools, auto mechanics, fire or law enforcement, computer repair, medical assisting, medical transcription, massage therapy, dental assisting, and training for X-ray technicians and CNAs.
