[FEB. 2, 2005]  Lincoln College has named Dave Klemm as associate athletic director. Klemm will help the current Lincoln College athletic director, Allen Pickering, with his duties and provide assistance when needed.

Klemm, a native of Lincoln and a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, joined Lincoln College in 1991 as head wrestling coach and physical education instructor. His career record at Lincoln is 106-82-1, and his teams have finished in the top six a total of four times. Since coming to Lincoln College, Klemm has produced 95 national qualifiers, 32 all-Americans and three national champs.

In 2003, Klemm was inducted into the National Junior College Athletic Association Hall of Fame. He has also been inducted into Eastern Illinois University Hall of Fame and the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Hall of Fame.

He is well-known and respected by our regional high school coaches and will continue to bring solid mentorship to our student athletes."

Klemm lives with his wife, Linda, and their two children, Sara and Evan.
