Scott KellyMatthew Scott Kelly, 43, of Lincoln
passed away at 6:37 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 at Carle
Foundation hospital, Urbana.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Service
will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Mark Emerson presiding.
Mr. Kelly was born on Aug. 24, 1962 to William and Rita
Rohwedder Kelly in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He married Debbie
Bridges Carter on Sept. 2, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Survivors include his wife of Lincoln; father and
step-mother Kathleen Kelly of Sherman; mother of Chatham;
one son, Kylen Kelly, Lincoln; one daughter Kiri Kelly,
Lincoln; one brother, Michael (Kim) Kelly, Aurora, Colorado;
one sister, Lori Kelly, Auburn; paternal grandmother,
Alberta Kelly, Cedar Rapids, IA.
Mr. Kelly was a truck driver for Dolphin Carthage in
Lincoln. He was a member of Salt Creek Chapter of ABATE.
Memorials may be made to the family or to a charity of the
donor's choice.
