Frederick L. Krueger, 83, of Lincoln
died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at 2:15 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital. |
His body was cremated, and there is no visitation.
A graveside service will be at a later date at
Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, Mich.
Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mr. Kruger retired from Lincoln Developmental
Center, where he worked as a pharmacy assistant.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II
and received the Purple Heart.
He was born Oct. 4, 1923, at Spaulding to William
and Geneva House Krueger. He married Lena Feriss on
March 15, 1947, at Harrow, Ontario, Canada.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; two sons,
Ronald (and Marilyn) Krueger of Olney and Charles
(and Krista) Krueger of Versailles, Ohio; two
daughters, Patricia (and Thomas) Daugherty of
Atlanta and Delores (and Daniel) Brown of Lincoln;
one brother, William (and Kay) Krueger of Florida;
seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

One son, Larry Krueger, and his twin sister, Frances
Gray, preceded him in death.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in
Lincoln, a life member of Decatur-Macon Chapter 17
Disabled American Veterans and a member of Veterans
of Foreign Wars in Bloomington.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation
or American Heart Association.
