The tombstones
associated with the
"Cast Iron Tombstone Trial"
still exist in several cemeteries around Logan County. This tombstone in
Turley Cemetery appears to be the one that's featured in the Lloyd
Ostendorf painting of Abraham Lincoln with Judge David Davis.
Re-enactments of the case tried by Lincoln begin tonight. The public is
