Robert L. Faith, 79, of Lincoln died
Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at 11:37 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center
in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. His funeral
will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mount Pulaski funeral home,
with Bill Shanle officiating. |

Burial will be in Lake Bank Cemetery, rural Mount
Pulaski. Mr. Faith was a retired farm machinery
mechanic.
He was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Warrensburg to
Benjamin Baxter and Grace Crosier McBride Faith. He
married Ruth Mae Robinson on Nov. 17, 1944, in
Lincoln; she preceded him in death. He married Doris
M. Hahn Koehler in Mount Pulaski on July 2, 1977.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; one son,
Robert W. Faith of Decatur; three daughters, Mary
(and Bill) Moore of Dallas, Texas, Susan (and
Robert) Pope of Mount Pulaski and Lynda Letterle of
Mount Pulaski; two stepchildren, Edward A. (and
Claire) Koehler of Lincoln and Kathleen (and Robert)
Emerson of Springfield; one brother, Carl (and Rita)
Faith of Latham; 13 grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers,
one sister and a son-in-law. |
He was a member of the Buffalo Christian Church and
a former member of the Mount Pulaski Christian
Church.
He was one of the founding members of the Land of
Lincoln Tractor and Engine Club.
