Enjoy the food! Contrary to
what you may hear, most babies can tolerate mom eating
and drinking a variety of foods without getting gassy or
fussy. They may even enjoy the variety of tastes that
they get in the breast milk. So enjoy… but make sure you
don't just eat the sweets. Mommies need energy from
good, healthy food as well.
For more information,
contact the breastfeeding peer counselor at the Logan
County Department of Public Health, 217-735-2317, ext.
