Attorneys for Raymond Clark III say he struck a deal with prosecutors and is expected to change his not guilty plea during a New Haven Superior Court hearing Thursday. Details of the plea agreement haven't been released.
Clark is charged with strangling 24-year-old Annie Le (lay), of Placerville, Calif.
Le was a doctoral pharmacology student. Her body was found stuffed behind a research lab wall the day she was supposed to get married in New York in September 2009.
Clark's duties included cleaning mouse cages and the lab's floors.
The 26-year-old Clark has pleaded not guilty to murder and felony murder. He has been jailed on $3 million bail.
