Due to technical difficulties with Internet service outside of
our area, portions of LDN may be delayed today. We will
bring those portions to you as they become available.
Update, 10:26 a.m. Tuesday: LDN and CCA
have been in contact with Frontier. There are multiple
cuts in the fiber optic lines in the McLean area. Frontier
has now located and repaired two of those cuts and is working
its way through the problem as quickly as possible.
LDN has posted all of its
local news, and it may be available to most of our readers.
AP news we are unable to post, and it doesn't look like that is
going to change anytime soon. We will continue to keep
you updated as we hear more.

The
first snow of the season arrived in Lincoln on Monday. There is an old
wives' tale that says whatever date the first tracking snow falls is the
number of snows we'll have for the winter. However, we're not sure
Monday qualified as a "tracking" snow. It is currently predicted that
could change on Thursday, though. If the old wives' tale is true, that
will be Dec. 20. Just for fun, let's keep count this year and see if
we have 20 tracking snows!
