If
you love unique and beautiful things but have
never been to Christmas on Vinegar Hill in Mount
Pulaski, mark your calendar now and plan on
making the trip next year.
This
year the event brought hundreds of folks out
into the small community as they rushed to be
the first to grab up something new and different
for their holiday decorating.
Along with great items like these lighted jars,
there were tons of other items as well, such as
food products, baked goods, jewelry, handbags,
and oh so much more.

British
Prime Minister David Cameron gestures while
speaking during a media conference after an EU
Summit in Brussels. For the European Union, a
once-unthinkable question is looking more like a
real possibility with each new grinding week of
economic crisis. Bad times are forcing the 17 EU
nations that use the euro currency to move even
closer toward some kind of United States of
Europe, dominated by Germany.

This 1939 photo provided by the
Wilkerson Archives shows Billy Wilkerson.
W.R. Wilkerson III, the son of Hollywood Reporter founder Billy
Wilkerson, is apologizing for his father's
and the trade paper's role in the 1947 Hollywood Blacklist that
destroyed the careers of writers, actors and directors accused
of having Communist ties.
He offers his "sincerest apologies and
deepest regrets to those who were victimized by this unfortunate
incident."
