Robert
Miller (foreground) was among the several downtown business and property
owners who attended the public hearing Monday night on establishing a
downtown TIF district. The city council hosted the hearing, with
Miller being among those who had questions for the council about the TIF.
Later in the evening the council voted on three ordinances that
established the district.

In this Feb. 20
photo, lights are reflected on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay
Bridge on Pier 14 in San Francisco. The bridge has been turned into the latest, and by far the
biggest, backdrop for New York artist Leo Villareal, who has
individually programmed 25,000 white lights spaced a foot apart
on 300 of the span's vertical cables to create what is being
billed as the world's largest illuminated sculpture.
