Monday photo provided by the USO of Illinois shows Lindsy Wadas,
director of the USO Center at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, with U.S.
Marine Maj. Matthew Winkelbauer, left, after he and 12 other Marines arrived in
Chicago before the final leg of their trip home to San Diego after a tour in
Afghanistan. The Marines got something special during their stop at O'Hare. They
were treated like heroes by a small crowd of cheering USO volunteers,
firefighters, police officers and others who work at the airport.

The eighth-grade Lady Wolverines of West
Lincoln-Broadwell have won back-to-back county championships.
Their win this year came on Monday night at Chester-East
Lincoln against
Mount Pulaski by a score of 51-27. Kaelyn Froebe led all
scorers with 30 points, which was also a season-high for Froebe. Ali Wilson had a great game on the boards
as she pulled down 15 rebounds, while Emerie Wieber pulled
down eight. Kennedy Lolling used her quick hands on defense
as she had 12 steals, while Froebe had nine and Haley Hicks and

Wolverines are now 13-1 on the season.
