Now that is a pothole! Actually it is a new sinkhole in the 100 block of South Ottawa in Lincoln. Walt Landers, city street superintendent, commented on the hole this week:

"The situation in the 100 block of South Ottawa was a sinkhole and the pavement was collapsing. We opened it up to find a pretty good void underneath and didn’t want to go any farther till the utility companies could locate and mark their services. Hopefully we can get the road repaired by the end of the week."
