Farming season is upon us.  Back in the day, in order to deliver seed to the planter, most farmers had to lug weighty bags from their trucks to the planter boxes and pour the seed in by hand, exposing themselves to the dust from the treated seed.  Today many seeds come in large plastic boxes designed with bottom trapdoors that can be opened so seed can be augured into the planter.  Clarks Ag Supply in Lincoln is one company that manufactures the special equipment used to auger the seed from box to planter.  Last week LDN's Karen Hargis happened by when a semi load of the special delivery systems was being loaded up for shipping.  The delivery systems called EasiLoad Seed Systems were headed to northern Wisconsin.
