Former
Mount Pulaski Coach Bob Gasaway addresses a packed
gymnasium at the Mount Pulaski Grade School Thursday
night. The school gymnasium was renamed Bob Gasaway
Gymnasium in the coach's honor. This is the second
such honor Gasaway has received. In September of
2013, the ball diamond at Veteran's Park was also
named for the coach.
On that day, another great Mount Pulaski coach was
honored, Ed Butkovich. A road in the park was named
for him. Butkovich will also be honored again in
December when the high school gym is named the Ed
Butkovich Gymnasium.
