Tomorrow
marks the start of the first festival of the summer
in Lincoln. Pigs and Swigs will officially kick off
tomorrow with the Anything Goes Barbecue
Competition. Turn in will be at 7:30 p.m. with
winners announced at 9 p.m. The Craft Beer event
will also open up Friday evening at 6 p.m. with the
first tasting and Peoples Choice vote taking place
and an entire evening of live music. Downtown street
closures will start this evening and food vendors
and some of the KCBS competitors are expected to
arrive tonight.
