On
Thursday evening, several people dropped in at the
Logan County Alliance office to help welcome Maggie
McMurtrey to the community. McMurtrey is the new
director of the Logan County Tourism Bureau. To help
break the ice, a board was set up with four "facts"
about her, with one of them being false.
Surprisingly, the one fact that was not true was
that Maggie had experience in corn detasseling.
Several enjoyed hearing her explanations of being
hit by a snow plow, throwing flaming hammers, and
how she broke somone's bones! McMurtrey hails from
Morton, but has found a home in Lincoln and will be
moving to town within the next couple of weeks.
