On Saturday afternoon Dean and Doris Cates along with Phil and Gini Bertoni were the guests of honor at the grand re-opening ribbon cut ceremony for the Mount Pulaski Courthouse. The roof project is now complete, and the community came out on Saturday to celebrate and enjoy a full day of other activities on the Mount Pulaski Square.

On August 1st and 2nd the Lincoln Patriots Youth Trap Shooting Team competed at the AIM Grand Nationals in Sparta. The pre-Sub Division finished 6th overall with Jordan Benner taking 3rd place and Rhett Pharis taking 4th. The Sub-Junior team took 7th overall. Seth Gleason was high team scorer with 195 out of 200.

Those who participated included Jake Kirgan, Brayden Hunter, Bandon Goldhammer, Seth Gleason, Maison Sherman, Jacob Stoltzenburg, Jonathan Riddle, Adam Wright, Parker Adams, Kolby Bottrell, Brandon Batchelder, Braydin Lanners, Brayden Rohlfs, Landen Alcorn, Makayla Stewart, Rhett Pharis, Cullen Tyson, Clayton Mortimer, Alec Martin, Jordan Benner, Ethan Sanborn and Hunter Martin.

Each team is shown with a banner acknowledging their many local sponsors.
