Pirate
Jim Frazier, the pilot of the city of Lincoln
special shape balloon, prepares his basket as his
crew gathers around for a quick photo. The balloon,
a pirate ship, was one of several who made a gallant
attempt to glow for the crowds at the Lincoln
Balloon Festival Friday night at the Logan County
Airport. While several did make it to inflate for
the glow feature, the pirate ship which is two to
three times larger than all the other balloons, did
not make it to inflate fully. The weather prevented
a launch on Friday night, but guests at the festival
were well entertained with many other events.
