At
the March 17th Logan County Board meeting, Emergency
Management Agency Director Dan Fulscher recognized a
couple of Logan County men for their roles in a
January water rescue. John Gaston and Ryan Sheley
were presented with plaques acknowledging their
actions that helped save Don Behle and his dog in a
water accident.
Pictured from the left are Mark Mann of the Logan
County Dispatch, Shawn Petit, Luke Hangar, Deb
Kimberlin of Logan County Dispatch, Ryan Sheley,
John Gaston, Dan Fulscher, and Don Behle, who is the
man rescued. Petit, Hangar, and Sheley were part of
the rescue dive team that went into the water to
rescue Behle and his dog.

Lincoln College Men's Volleyball teams participated in
the Mid-West Plains Volleyball Conference Championship
Tournament this weekend. The event featured 21 teams
from colleges and universities across the mid-west and
was hosted by the University of Missouri in Columbia,
MO. The LC Sophomore team went 5-3 to earn a 2nd place
finish and the Freshman squad went 2-3 to finish in a
tie for 9th.
