Nine-year-old
Landon Watkins stands in the middle of the Mount
Pulaski Soccer Team, holding the ball at the team’s
Friday night game last week. The youngster, a
student at Mount Pulaski Grade School, is dealing
with a brain tumor that has had a serious impact on
his health. On Friday night the soccer team made
Landon their honorary ball boy for the game. On
Saturday, Landon's good day continued when the Team
Landon entry in the Mount Pulaski Fall Festival
Parade was ranked as the First Place entry.
