Last
week on Thursday, the Atlanta Public
Library Summer Discovery Camp series
wrapped up with a study in theater.
Instead of performing a play this year
the students wrote and illustrated a
story based on Aesops Fables. The
children created diorama-like model
boxes where they designed and drew out
sets for their plays, plus character and
costume drawings illustrating what each
act of their play would look like if it
were performed on stage.
