On
Saturday morning, amid the many
activities going on at the Lincoln Pigs
and Swigs Festival, several folks took
time out to help celebrate the opening
of the new Lincoln Welcome Garden, a
downtown Route 66 Roadside Attraction.
The Garden is the product of Leslie
Hoefle, Logan County Tourism Bureau, the
city of Lincoln, and many local
businesses. Many of those involved were
in attendance for an official ribbon
cutting ceremony.
