The
folks at Modern Brake in Lincoln are
donning their pink this month because
they know it is time to put the brakes
on breast cancer.
Wearing pink says that we care, and that
we support those who are fighting the
good fight, but it also means that we
want this disease to come to an end in
our lifetime. We want a cure. The
American Cancer Society wants that too,
and is working to make it happen.

Friends
and family remember young Kennedy Freese
in candle light vigil
A beautiful young life was mourned by
candle light vigil on Monday evening. A
tragic single vehicle accident on a
county road near Hartsburg claimed the
life of 17 year old Kennedy Freese on
Saturday morning.
Friends and family filled Latham Park,
downtown Lincoln starting at 7 p.m.
Closing out the evening, as music played
friends brought their candles forward to
place under a photo of their friend.
