Lincoln
College has announced long-term plans to
go solar on the campus. A solar energy
generation system is being planned with
installation to take place near the
college's baseball and soccer fields.
The project is part of a new renewable
energy service agreement between Lincoln
College and Clean Energy Design Group,
Inc.
LC's Mark Gordon said the photo "is only
a sample of the type of panels that
would be installed and shows a more
extensive installation than what is
likely to be installed at Lincoln
College." The project will likely begin
in 2019.

At
five years old, Norah Burgard is already
working to do good things in her
community. Last weekend during the Mount
Pulaski Fall Festival, Norah with help
from her parents, raised sold lemonade.
The funds she raised where added to past
funds raised and she used that money to
purchase supplies including food and
toys for the animals at the Humane
Society of Logan County.
Norah, her little sister Morgan, and her
parents made a trip to Wal-Mart to
purchase supplies with the money she had
raised and on Wednesday, Norah happily
delivered her donation to the HSLC.
Good job Norah! You serve as a good
example to all of us!
