On
Saturday, Christmas on Vinegar Hill in Mount Pulaski brought
excited shoppers from all around the region to town. This one day a
year, the number of visitors in town outnumber the little
community's population many times over. Guests enjoy many shopping
opportunities from craft and vendor sales at local community
buildings such as the Mount Pulaski Grade School and American
Legion. The downtown businesses also host special sales and offer
holiday-themed merchandise for shoppers to snatch up. Also included
in the day of 'best places to shop' is the Mount Pulaski Township
Historical Society and Museum. The Society hosts an indoor garage
and bake sale that is a very popular stop for bargain hunters and
those with a sweet tooth.
