Lincoln Ward 1 Alderman Tracy Welch (left) is joined by his wife Annette and current Lincoln Mayor Seth Goodman by his campaign sign. Welch hosted a reception at the Oasis Senior Center on Sunday afternoon to announce his intention to run for mayor in 2021.

Mayor Seth Goodman is endorsing Welch and said he was off to a good start sporting his Tracy Welch t-shirt at the reception.

Atlanta's newest royalty enjoyed their participation in the parade on Saturday at the Atlanta Fall Festival. Luke Wibben and Hailynn Emery were crowned prince and princess on Friday evening. Saturday the two rode in style in the back of a flame-clad four-wheeler throwing out candy to all the children along the parade route. We can't help but notice, little Hailynn may soon be nicknamed the "barefoot princess." Too cute!
