Fire
scorched and burned trees, rubble and brush are all that remain
today, a week after the fire that destroyed an abandoned house on
Ninth Street in Lincoln last Wednesday. This week at the Tuesday
night meeting of the Lincoln City Council Alderman Tracy Welch and
Fire Chief Bob Dunovsky spoke about the fire, with Welch commending
the chief and his crew along with others who helped for a job well
done in working the blaze and protecting the neighboring homes on
the block.
The full story is in today's edition of Lincoln Daily News.
