The
Christmas Trees for the 2020 Winter Wonderland in Lincoln should be
in place and ready to decorate by the end of the day today.
According to coordinator Kathie Williams, this year's display will
feature about 60 trees. Tree sponsors may begin decorating on Sunday
and need to have their tree completely ready by Friday for the
evening's lighting ceremony.
This year, the trees will outline the Logan County Courthouse lawn's
exterior borders only so that visitors may walk on the sidewalk to
see all the trees.
The lighting ceremony is at 5:30 p.m. Friday, November 27th, in the
street on the courthouse's west side. Visitors are encouraged to
observe social distancing during and after the ceremony and wear a
face mask.
