Randy
Whiteman of Lincoln was the September winner of a U.S. flag that
once flew over the United States Capitol Building on Constitution
Day. Whiteman won the flag at a Logan County Democrats' "Drive-Thru"
Constitution Day birthday party, 233 years after the Constitution's
signing by representatives of the newly United States of America.
The flag was presented to Whiteman (left) by Logan County Democratic
Committee Chair Gary Davis. Whiteman also received a replica of the
original Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
