On
Tuesday morning, Logan County Tourism Director Alice
Roate, Sorrento's Pizzeria owner Lisa Drew, Small Town
Creations Owner Kathie Williams and Spirited Republic
co-owner Colleen Roate met at the LCTB Lincoln Depot
Visitors Center. They were there to draw out the winning
names of this year's Christmas Express shopping sprees.
The first-place winner was Peggy Morrow. Second place
was Janet Phillips and third place went to Madeline
Hughes.
Twenty-five businesses participated in the Christmas
Express this year. The third-place winner received one
$10 gift card from each business. Second place received
$15 gift cards and the first place winner received $25
gift cards from each business.

The
Logan County Tourism Bureau is once again fully staffed.
As many know, Alice Roate (left) was hired earlier this
year as the Bureau's Director.
This week, Lexie Groves joined the staff as Roate's
Administrative Assistant.
Both ladies are Logan County natives with deep roots in
the community and educational backgrounds conducive to
promoting tourism in Logan County.
