On
Thursday morning, members of the local Marine Corps
League Detachment 1336 installed a chair lift/elevator
at the back door of the home of World War Two veteran
Orville Schaffer.
When the work was done, the group came together for a
photo with Schaffer in his new elevator. Left to right
are Marine Veterans Owen Eaton, Bill Dennis, Gene Hickey
and Mike Downen, with Orville seated in his electric
chair scooter on his new elevator.
