Dr. Michael Phelon
Rev. Dr. Glenn Shelton
On
Saturday, the last two honorary doctorate degrees in the
history of Lincoln College were awarded to Michael
Phelon and Rev. Glenn Shelton. It was a joyous day at
the college, despite the circumstances, in no small part
due to the celebration of the more than 200 students who
Dr. Rev. Shelton reminded, were not just a graduating
class; they were history in the making.
Both Phelon and Rev. Shelton received Doctor of Humane
Letters degrees. Phelon's sponsor was Judith Morely,
Trustee of Lincoln College and Rev. Shelton's sponsor
was Laura Beltchenko, Trustee of Lincoln College.
LDN will have full coverage of the last Lincoln College
graduation ceremony later this week.
