Lincoln Memorial Hospital
Community

City of
Lincoln governance |
The
Friday, October 21st pink pictures include three amazing
groups of people, starting with the staff at Lincoln
Memorial Hospital. The next photo is staff from the
Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois, and
the third picture is the Lincoln City Council department
heads and elected officials.
All three of these groups are dedicated to looking out
for the well-being of others. The hospital, through
health care. CAPCIL, is working to give at-risk
families a 'hand up" and out of poverty, and the Lincoln
governance is working to assure the quality of life for
all Lincoln residents.
All of these folks would want you to know that National
Mammogram Day is today. It is a day set aside to raise
awareness for the value of taking care of your health
and maintaining your quality of life by having your
annual mammograms and knowing that you are healthy.
Mammograms and self-exams are critical to early
detection, and early detection is the key to increased
survival rates. Speak with your doctor today about
scheduling your exam.
