On Saturday,
JeffStreet Church hosted a unique and meaningful
Easter event for children and adults. The Journey to
the Cross included an interactive fun portion for
children that permitted the opportunity for them to
learn more about the crucifixion and resurrection of
Christ while doing what kids love to do, play games,
and collect Easter eggs filled with candy.
Meanwhile, adults participated in a more solemn
activity. As they journeyed from station to station,
in a separate setting, they were encouraged to
meditate and pray as they considered the station and
the deeper meaning each one held for them
personally.

competitors in the 2024 4-H Public Speaking Contest.
The Logan County 4-Hers participated in a
competition with members from Menard and Sangamon
Counties. Taking the title of Reserve Champion was
Charlotte Judd, also of Logan County.
