Toys For Tots collection

[DEC. 11, 2003]  On Saturday (Dec. 13) members of the Illinois Leathernecks will be stationed between Wal-Mart and Kroger to collect toys for the children of Logan County, as part of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots program.

The collection point will be manned from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. by Leathernecks; and hopefully, members of Charlie Company, 6th Engineer Support Battalion, United States Marine Corps Reserve, headquartered in Peoria, will be available to take the toys and donations.

Please come and help make a child's Christmas a joyful one.
