LINCOLN, Illinois – The
Lincoln Christian men’s basketball team dropped their first game of
the season with a loss against Kentucky Christian, 89-67. LCC
garnered a 41-33 lead at the half. But the team was unable to stop a
second half surge by KCC and shot an abysmal 24% from the field in
the second period. “I saw a more experienced team take advantage of
a young group of guys by making some great adjustments at halftime,”
commented Coach Searby, “We got a great group of guys who will take
this as an opportunity to learn from their mistakes. We don’t have
any time to hang our heads with one of our toughest games coming on
Tuesday.”
