"We really came out with great
intensity in that first quarter. It was good to come out with a
second win," commented LCC coach Searby.
Tim Schultz led the team in scoring and rebounding with 23 and 13,
respectively. Brian Dunaway chipped in 13 points and five boards.
The two connected with the play of the game, when Schultz led a break off a steal and assisted Dunaway with an alley-oop, which Dunaway
finished with a reverse dunk.
Lincoln plays Northland later in the season, but Northland will then have
five more players who did not make the current trip.
"They will be a different team the next time we play them. We will
have to prepare for it like it is the first time we have played
them," remarked Searby.
The Preachers move to 2-0 on the season and will play next at 6 p.m.
today (Saturday) versus Johnson Bible College at the
Cincinnati Bible College Classic.
Scoring
