LC men's soccer team ties game     Send a link to a friend

[OCT. 1, 2003]  Lincoln College recovered from a 2-0 first-half deficit to score a pair of second-half goals and tie SWIC in men's soccer action here Tuesday. Lincoln College now stands at 3-6-1 for the season and will be at home against College of DuPage on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Augustine Barboza scored both of the Lincoln College goals, the first coming on an assist from Garrett Taylor and the second assisted by Thorbjorn Rertorli.

Chris Douglas had a good game in the net for Lincoln College, as he had 16 saves.

Coach Ben Massena stated: "We were a little flat in the first half, but we came out and played hard the second half and good things began to happen. Pat Barrett moved back to the sweeper position and did an outstanding job. Augustine played a great game."
