Jessica Livezey had a total of 15
points and eight kills on the day for the Lynx, while Rosie Miller
chipped in with 12 points and 21 set assists. Kristin Majka recorded
10 points and 16 kills, Lacey Jones had 10 kills and four blocks,
and Ashley Hanson contributed with 13 digs.
"Once again we got off to a slow start
against Millikin, but we came on strong in the third game and that
kind of carried over into our match against Illinois College," said
Lincoln coach Mark Tippett. "We passed the ball pretty well and
played together as a team. Our effort was excellent, and hopefully
this will help us when we play conference opponent Lincoln Land in
our next match."
Lincoln College, 5-11, is at home
Wednesday at 6 p.m. against Lincoln Land. The Lynx lost in three
games to Lincoln Land in September.
