"We played a good match, and the girls
appeared to gel as a team tonight," said Lincoln coach Mark Tippett. "Things
started clicking and we played well in all areas. It is great to get
a win, and hopefully this will carry over into the weekend at the
Black Hawk East tri-match.
Savannah Hammond contributed three
points, one kill and one block, while Christy Raymer had 17 set
assists and three points. Melissa Brassard was a big contributor
with five kills, five blocks and seven points.
Lincoln
College now stands at 1-3 for the season.
