Illinois Basketball Coaches Clinic
set for Nov. 7-8    

[SEPT. 20, 2003]  CHAMPAIGN -- Head coach Bruce Weber and his staff will host the annual Illinois Basketball Coaches Clinic Nov. 7-8 at the Ubben Basketball Complex on the UI campus.

Guest speakers on Nov. 7 include Chuck Buescher, longtime head coach of 2003 Illinois Class AA state champion Peoria Central, Vince Carter, head coach of 2003 IHSA Class AA Elite Eight participant Von Steuben, and high school coaching legend Dick Van Scyoc, the winningest basketball coach in IHSA history.

Guest speakers on Nov. 8 include third-year Butler head coach Todd Lickliter and new Southern Illinois head coach Matt Painter.

Illinois will conduct practices both days of the clinic, which will conclude with a question-and-answer session hosted by Weber.
