It was a purrr-fect day to be enjoyed by all; dogs, humans and even a few cats congregated around downtown Lincoln on Saturday morning, when Main Street hosted the fifth "Puttin' on the Dog." Participants checked in by the Blue Dog Inn and paraded down to the Logan County Courthouse lawn for numerous morning festivities.

The new adoption agency, Pets Without Parents, had some of their furry friends out for the day. People interested in acquiring a pet or becoming a foster parent can call Shannon at (217) 732-4849 or Stephanie at (217) 735-2868.  [picture by Jan Youngquist] click on picture for larger image
