Andre Borschberg, Solar Impulse's chief executive officer, flies the
solar-powered HB-SIA near Mont Blanc on Wednesday, with the Alps in the
background, near the Payerne airport in Switzerland. It was the prototype
airplane's first night-flight attempt. The propeller plane, with a 200-foot
wingspan, is powered by four electric motors and designed to fly day and night
by saving surplus energy from its 12,000 solar cells in high-performance
batteries.

OK, let's be honest. Do you really think this outfit will
sell? We don't picture seeing this dress anytime soon in Logan County.
The model wears a creation by Italian fashion designers Maria Grazia Chiuri
and Pier Paolo Piccioli as part of their fall-winter 2010-2011 haute couture
fashion collection for fashion house Valentino, presented in Paris on
Wednesday.
