Lincoln Junior High School has three groups of instrumental musicians -- pep band, concert band and jazz band. The pep band performs at boys’ home basketball games. Members began practicing in September on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school to polish their sound. Dec. 5 is the band’s eighth and final performance for the season.

The LJHS concert band will present its winter concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 13 in the school gym.
