Wednesday
morning, volunteers gathered at the Zion Lutheran School
cafeteria in Lincoln to spend the day stuffing casings with
fresh whole-hog sausage in preparation for Saturday’s annual
pancake and sausage breakfast. The meat came from the generosity
of five local farmers who donated 15 hogs that were
processed at the Atlanta Locker.

evening the Carroll Catholic-New Holland-Middletown seventh- and eighth-grade volleyball teams went up against the girls at Hartem. Pictured above, Emma
Mammen of CCS-NHM slams one past the Hartem defense. In the end, Hartem ruled the
day, winning out over CCS-NHM in both the seventh- and eighth-grade matches.
