Being overweight increases the chance for many health issues, including diabetes and cardiovascular disease. You'll hear from Christopher Rivera, M.D., from Memorial Physician Services about cardiovascular disease, learn weight management tips from nurse practitioner Kat Tucholke from Memorial Physician Services, get tips for packing a healthy lunch for you and your family from registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator Jennifer DiPasquale from ALMH, and learn about how to create an active family lifestyle from Todd Mourning, doctor of physical therapy from ALMH. You'll also have an opportunity for a FREE body fat and blood pressure screening. All participants will be entered to win an iPad, and the first 125 participants will receive a free T-shirt.
