The fireplace mantel inside the Colaw House in Atlanta all decked out for Christmas. Guests enjoyed period decorations, a table full of sweet treats and warm cider punch while visiting with the owner of the property, Todd Parks, and the host and hostess Zach and Kayla Craig. Sunday afternoon the public was invited to take a tour and step back in time to a circa 1950's Christmas at the Victorian home turned rooming house that is now a like a cozy bed and breakfast available for overnight stays and special event use. While they do not serve breakfast to the guests. The guests are given a coupon for breakfast at the Palms Grill or they can use the kitchen and make their own breakfast.

Graue's Chevrolet was a busy place on Saturday, but not because everyone in Logan County is getting a car for Christmas, as much as some might wish. Rather in community service, the business hosted two big fundraisers for community groups. The service department gave up space to make room for the Lincoln Rotary Club and the Humane Society of Logan County. Rotary members were distributing citrus fruits from their annual sale, and the HSLC was holding a huge cookie walk and rummage style sale with lots of items in perfect condition for gift giving.
